One of Pakistan’s highly-acclaimed drama series, “Meray Paas Tum Ho,” featuring Humayun Saeed, Ayeza Khan, and Adnan Siddiqui, is set to grace Indian television screens via Zee Zindagi. This is not the channel’s first time airing Pakistani shows, as it has previously broadcast popular programs like “Qissa Meharbano Ka,” “Aasmaanon Pe Likha,” and “Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay.”
In anticipation of the drama’s Indian release, Zindagi posted a sneak peek trailer on Instagram, creating a buzz among fans by asking, “What happens when you believe money can buy happiness?” The series will be available for Indian audiences starting August 2.
Adnan Siddiqui Reflects on the Impact of “Meray Paas Tum Ho”
Recently, Adnan Siddiqui appeared on Junaid Akram’s podcast and shared insights about how “Meray Paas Tum Ho,” the 2019 drama, catalyzed those involved. However, Siddiqui modestly dismissed the notion that he foresaw the level of success and popularity that the show brought to everyone.
Siddiqui compared the drama’s effect on his career to replacing an old, well-used engine with a brand-new one. The show’s success positively affected his involvement in other ventures, including various shows, advertisements, and tours. Siddiqui quipped that had he known how monumental the drama’s success would be; he would have asked for a much higher fee.
Interestingly, Siddiqui revealed that the lead actor, Humayun Saeed, had suggested him for a specific role. He said, “Humayun told me they had considered me for this role six years ago. Essentially, my name was on their minds all along.”
