Pakistani citizens residing in Saudi Arabia can renew their passports without returning to Pakistan.

The service is available at the Pakistani embassy in Jeddah and various consular offices throughout the kingdom, facilitating a more accessible and efficient process for expatriates.

The Pakistani diplomatic missions in Saudi Arabia offer renewal services for Machine-Readable Passports (MRP). These services cater to standard and urgent needs, ensuring that Pakistani nationals can always maintain valid travel documents.

Required Documents for Passport Renewal:

To renew a passport, applicants must provide several key documents:

  • CNIC or NICOP: A valid Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) or National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP), along with a photocopy. Smart versions of these cards are also accepted.
  • Passport: The current passport, along with a photocopy.
  • Iqama: A copy of the Iqama or Saudi resident permit verifying legal residency status within Saudi Arabia.

Fee Structures:
The fee for passport renewal varies depending on the number of pages and the passport’s validity period. The detailed fee structure is as follows:

  1. 36-page Passport:
  • Five-year validity:
    • Standard: 84 SAR
    • Urgent: 140 SAR
  • Ten-year validity:
    • Standard: 126 SAR
    • Urgent: 210 SAR
  1. 72-page Passport:
  • Five-year validity:
    • Standard: 154 SAR
    • Urgent: 252 SAR
  • Ten-year validity:
    • Standard: 231 SAR
    • Urgent: 378 SAR
  1. 100-page Passport:
  • Five-year validity:
    • Standard: 168 SAR
    • Urgent: 336 SAR
  • Ten-year validity:
    • Standard: 252 SAR
    • Urgent: 504 SAR

These fees cover the passport renewal process’s various administrative and operational costs. The urgent processing option allows for faster handling and delivery of travel documents for those in immediate need.

Additional Information:

Pakistani citizens in Saudi Arabia should begin the passport renewal process well before their current passports expire. This proactive approach helps avoid disruptions in travel plans and ensures compliance with Pakistani and Saudi legal requirements.

The Pakistani embassies and consulates in Saudi Arabia are committed to providing efficient and reliable services to their nationals, helping them navigate the complexities of expatriate living easily and confidently.
