How to Apply for NADRA NICOP Complete Guide for Overseas Pakistanis

The National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) issues the National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP), essential for Pakistani citizens intending to travel or reside overseas.

Every Pakistani citizen is eligible for the NADRA NICOP, which facilitates visa-free entry into Pakistan for dual nationals. Applicants must provide a valid passport number when applying for a Smart NICOP. You can submit applications at any NADRA office in Pakistan or through respective consulates abroad. Alternatively, applications can be made online for added convenience.

Zone Classification and Fee Structure

NADRA classifies countries into two categories: Zone A and Zone B. Zone A comprises European and Western countries, such as Canada. At the same time, Zone B covers Arab nations, including Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

NICOP Fees as of December 18, 2024:

  • Saudi Arabia: Normal fee: $20, Urgent fee: $30, Executive fee: $40
  • Pakistan: Normal fee: Rs5,563, Urgent fee: Rs8,346, Executive fee: Rs11,128
  • Saudi Arabia (in Riyals): Normal fee: 75 Riyals, Urgent fee: 110 Riyals, Executive fee: 150 Riyals
  • Zone A countries: Normal fee: $39, Urgent fee: $57, Executive fee: $75

How to Apply at a NADRA Registration Center (NRC):

  1. Obtain a token.
  2. Have your photograph taken.
  3. Provide your fingerprints and signature.
  4. Complete the required data entry.
  5. Review the printed form and submit your application.

Online Application via the Pak Identity Website

Applicants can apply for a Smart NICOP online through the Pak Identity website for a more streamlined process. This platform also offers doorstep delivery convenience.
