According to Japan’s Kyodo news agency, A merger between Honda, Japan’s second-largest car manufacturer, and Nissan, the third-largest, would position the combined entity as the world’s third-largest auto group. This group would trail only Toyota and Volkswagen, with an annual production of 7.4 million units.
