Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is to preside over a high-level meeting today on national security and country’s law-and-order situation.
The meeting is to be attended by chief of army staff General Raheel Sharif, Director General Military Operations and DG ISI, Lt. Gen Zaheer-ul-Islam.
Federal Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Adviser to Prime Minister on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz are also slated to be present in the meeting.
The army leadership would brief the meeting over national security and apprise it of army chief’s recent visit to Kabul, source said.
