Islamabad: Heat wave conditions would grip most parts of the country from Tuesday onward with rise in the day temperatures, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD)۔
According to the synoptic situation, seasonal low was lying over Balochistan and adjoining areas.
A westerly wave was affecting upper parts of the country and likely to move eastwards during next 24 hours.
The hot weather conditions would prevail in most parts of Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan during the next few days.
However there are chances of rain in the upper parts during the coming weekend.
The chief amount of rainfall recorded during the last 24 hours was Astore 03 mm, Garhi Dupatta, Kalam, Parachinar 02 and Bunji 01 mm.
The hottest places recorded during the last 24 hours were Dadu, Jacobabad 49 C, Rahim Yar Khan, Sibbi 48 C, Sukkur 47 C, Turbat, Rohri, Khanpur, Hyderabad 46 C, Bannu, Dera Ghazi Khan and Lasbella 45 C.
The pollen count recorded today was 146 per cubic meter of air.- APP
