Warner Bros. Games recently unveiled the gameplay trailer for “Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions” and announced that pre-orders are live.
The Wizarding World series will debut digitally on September 3 across various platforms, including PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X, followed by a physical release in November.
“Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions” features a dynamic portrayal of Quidditch, offering players the roles of Beater, Chaser, Keeper, or Seeker within immersive, fast-paced matches. Developed by Unbroken Studios, the game includes a single-player career mode and an online competitive mode, culminating in the Quidditch World Cup. The recently released “Welcome Students” trailer shows the high-energy gameplay and various game modes.
In addition to classic characters like Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, and Draco Malfoy, players can create and customize their characters. The game’s detailed arenas and vivid portrayal of Quidditch play promise to engage new players and long-time fans of the franchise.
“The Standard and Deluxe editions of “Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions” will have staggered releases. The digital versions launch on September 3, while the physical Deluxe edition will hit shelves on November 8 for PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store), PS5, PS4, Xbox Series S/X, and Xbox One. The Nintendo Switch version is slated for release during the 2024 holiday season.”
Deluxe edition pre-orders come with exclusive bonuses such as House packs for Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff, as well as in-game currency. Pre-ordering any version also secures the Firebolt Supreme broom skin as a bonus item.
For PlayStation users, “Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions” will be available as a PlayStation Plus launch title. From September 3 to September 30, PS Plus members can add the Standard edition to their library at no extra cost and play indefinitely, provided they maintain an active subscription.
