On October 12, 2025, the well-known stage dancer Muneeba Shah was shot dead by armed assailants on Ring Road in Peshawar, within the jurisdiction of the Michani Gate Police Station.
The attackers intercepted her rickshaw and fired multiple rounds, killing Shah instantly. The rickshaw driver sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital.
Witnesses reported the attackers fleeing the scene after the shooting. Shah’s body was transported to the morgue for a postmortem examination.
