Unidentified gunmen attacked the office of the industries department’s director and murdered its deputy director earlier today.
According to initial reports, the deputy director, Chaudhry Ghulam Haider, was shot dead on the spot after the gunmen opened fire in the office.
The gunmen managed to flee from the scene soon after the incident. Police have commenced investigations.
