“Gunjal” Set to Premiere: A Gripping Crime Thriller from Pakistan

The Pakistani film industry is excited as the upcoming movie “Gunjal” gears up for its release on December 15.

Produced by Nighat Akbar Shah and directed by Shoaib Sultan, this crime thriller has piqued interest with its gripping storyline.

An Instagram post, shared by Nighat and the official account of “Gunjal,” unveiled the film’s poster, stirring excitement among fans.

“Gunjal,” produced under Adur Productions, is inspired by real-life events, making it a compelling watch. The film’s narrative centres around journalist Shahbaz Bhatti, portrayed by Ahmed Ali Akbar, as he delves into the mysterious murder of child activist Irfan Masih. Set in the 1990s in Pakistan, the movie portrays Masih’s brave fight against child labour, adding depth and authenticity to the story.

The official trailer, released on September 30, sets the tone for a thrilling cinematic experience. Ahmed Ali Akbar’s portrayal of Shahbaz Bhatti captivates viewers as he embarks on a dangerous journey to unravel the truth behind Irfan Masih’s murder. The film promises a blend of intrigue, conspiracy, and suspense, offering an emotional rollercoaster to its audience.
