The 2026 Grammy Awards are set to deliver one of the biggest nights in global music. The ceremony marks the 68th edition of the awards, hosted by the Recording Academy, and will celebrate outstanding achievements across genres.
Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. said the goal remains clear. The focus is on honouring music while producing one of the most complex live shows in entertainment.
Kendrick Lamar tops the nominations for the second consecutive year. He competes in major categories, including Record of the Year and Song of the Year, for Luther, his collaboration with SZA.
He also earned a nomination for Album of the Year with GNX, his fifth studio release.
Close behind are Lady Gaga, producers Cirkut and Jack Antonoff, each with seven nominations. Artists including Sabrina Carpenter, Bad Bunny and Leon Thomas received six nominations each.

Trevor Noah Returns as Grammy Host
Trevor Noah will host the Grammys for the sixth straight year. Mason Jr. described Noah as the ideal host due to his humour, professionalism, and respect for artists.
His return adds stability and familiarity to one of television’s largest live broadcasts.
The Recording Academy confirmed performances from Sabrina Carpenter, Pharrell Williams, Clipse, Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga. All eight Best New Artist nominees will also perform during the ceremony.

Tributes will honour late music icons. Reba McEntire, Brandy Clark and Lukas Nelson will take part in remembrance segments.
Lauryn Hill will honour D’Angelo and Roberta Flack. A special tribute to Ozzy Osbourne will feature Post Malone, Slash and Chad Smith.

The main ceremony begins at 8:00 p.m. ET and 5:00 p.m. PT. Viewers can watch live on CBS and stream on Paramount+.
