Rawalpindi: The Chief of Army Staff, General Raheel Sharif visited Central Intelligence Agency headquarters in Langley and met Director CIA John Brennan.
According to Director General Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR), Lt-Gen Asim Bajwa, General Raheel and CIA Chief discussed regional security challenges and the future line of action.
The Army Chief specially highlighted the need for permanent peace and stability in the region and requirement of conducive environment for re-initiating Afghan owned and led reconciliation process.
Director CIA acknowledged Pakistan’s accomplishments of Operation Zarb-e-Azb, saying that it has yielded positive impact on regional security.
