Gen Asim Munir Discusses Defense and Security with Saudi Royalty

Chief of Army Staff Gen Asim Munir met with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman at the Royal Palace in Riyadh on Wednesday.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced that Gen Munir is on an official visit to Saudi Arabia.

According to a statement, during their meeting, they discussed various topics, including regional peace, defense, and security cooperation, and ways to enhance bilateral relations.

The Saudi Press Agency noted that the talks included reviewing Saudi-Pakistani relations and exploring opportunities for their development.

ISPR reported that Gen Munir expressed his appreciation to Crown Prince Salman for his ongoing support of Pakistan and his pivotal role in promoting regional peace and stability.

Additionally, Gen Munir met with Saudi Defence Minister Prince Khalid Bin Salman, and they committed to further bolster defense and security cooperation.
