The Galaxy S26 series launch details are drawing global attention as Samsung prepares to unveil its latest flagship lineup on February 25. Fans are now counting down to the Galaxy Unpacked event, where the company is expected to confirm specifications, pricing, and availability for the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus, and Galaxy S26 Ultra.
Samsung has already teased one of the standout upgrades: a new “privacy display.” The feature is designed to reduce side-angle visibility while maintaining clarity for users viewing the screen head-on. This innovation could become one of the defining features of the S26 lineup.
Galaxy S26 Series Launch Details and Release Timeline
The official unveiling is scheduled for February 25. Pre-orders are expected to begin on February 26, with general availability starting March 11.
Samsung appears to be avoiding a March 13 launch date. Reports suggest the company wants to avoid Friday the 13th due to superstition.
Customers who pre-order the Galaxy S26 series will receive double storage at no additional cost. For example, buyers of the 256GB model will receive the 512GB version.
Additionally, customers who register their interest before the event can claim a £30 voucher for Samsung’s website. They will also enter a draw for a chance to win one of ten £500 vouchers.
Galaxy S26 Pricing Expectations
Pricing speculation suggests possible increases in certain markets. The 256GB model may see a £50 rise compared to the previous generation, while the 512GB variant could increase further.
However, in the UK, the starting prices are expected to remain at £799 for the Galaxy S26, £999 for the S26 Plus, and £1,249 for the S26 Ultra.

International markets may not experience the same price adjustments. Final confirmation will come during the Unpacked presentation.
Galaxy S26 Performance and Chipset Upgrades
The Galaxy S26 and S26 Plus are expected to feature Samsung’s new Exynos 2600 chipset. Meanwhile, the S26 Ultra will reportedly run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor.
This configuration aims to deliver improved processing speed, stronger graphics performance, and enhanced AI capabilities. Reports indicate that the Exynos 2600 may offer significant improvements in NPU and GPU performance compared to previous models.
Galaxy S26 Battery Life and Charging Enhancements
Battery capacity will vary across the lineup. The Galaxy S26 is expected to include a 4,300mAh battery, while the S26 Plus may retain a 4,900mAh unit. The S26 Ultra could feature a 5,200mAh battery.
One major upgrade is expected in charging speeds. The Galaxy S26 Ultra may introduce 60W wired charging, up from 45W in the previous model. This improvement would significantly reduce charging times.
