Four persons of a family, three women among them, were killed in a gun attack in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Buner district (near Swat) earlier today.
Police said the incident took place in Palwari area of Buner where unidentified gunmen barged into a house and opened indiscriminate fire on family members in the wee hours of the morning.
Head of the family, Mukhabir, his wife, daughter and elderly mother were killed on the spot.
The attackers torched the house before fleeing from the scene, police said, adding that bodies of the victims were charred in the fire.
Police cited old enmity as reason behind the mass murder.
