In a recent violent encounter in the rural outskirts of Ghotki, former Provincial Assembly member Mir Shehryar Khan Shar narrowly escaped an armed ambush in the Kacha area, a known haven for bandit activity, where assailants opened fire on Shar’s vehicle.
The attack resulted in the death of Shar’s associate, Ali Muhammad, and left another individual seriously wounded.

Miraculously surviving the assault, Shehryar Shar found himself trapped in the hazardous area. His son promptly appealed to the police for help, urging them to rescue his father from the volatile region.
Responding to the emergency, SSP Hafeezur Rehman Bugti of Ghotki arrived with substantial police reinforcements. Despite their presence, the situation remains highly charged, and the standoff between law enforcement and the bandits continues.
