Former Chief Minister’s Nephew Among Three Dead in Quetta Clashes

Three people, including Nawabzada Haroon Raisani, the nephew of former Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Muhammad Aslam Raisani, were fatally shot in a conflict between two groups on Wednesday. Among the deceased was also Mir Brahamdagh Lehri. Following the incident, their bodies were transported to Civil Hospital Quetta, leading to a sudden influx of people at the facility.

The aftermath of the violent clash led to a surge of fear and unease in the local community.

On a separate but simultaneous note, a loud explosion was reported in the Spini Road area of Quetta, believed to be a suicide attack. Initial investigations revealed that the suicide bomber prematurely detonated his explosives without reaching his target. Fortunately, The blast took place near a Frontier Corps check post without resulting in any casualties. Police arrived at the scene promptly and initiated an inquiry into the incident.
