Former captain Latif likely to head PCB’s anti-corruption unit

Reliable sources in the PCB claimed that Latif was due to meet the Board Chairman Najam Sethi this week to discuss the position
which would not only monitor domestic matches but also international matches of the Pakistan team.Latif has in the past been very vocal about corruption issues and in 1994, he and Basit Ali announced a premature retirement while on tour to South Africa to bring to the fore the menace of match fixing by some players in Pakistan team.
