No force can derail democracy, says Rafique

Federal Minister for Railways Khwaja Saad Rafique said on Tuesday that no force could derail the democracy and the democratic government.

“The way PM Nawaz Sharif is being asked for resignation is totally out of question. The prime minister will never resign,” said adamant Rafique while talking to media outside the Parliament House here.

He asked Imran Khan how he could run his government, if elected, in case his opposition parties take to the streets in Islamabad seeking his removal.

We are against the imposition of rule of jungle in the country, he added. “Those sitting outside the parliament are intending to run over democracy in the country.”

He said Imran could become a man of any profession, but not a politician. Political leaders should not sow the seeds of hatred, he added.
