Five of family killed in road accident

Khairpur: Five members of a family were killed in a road accident near Kumb on Monday.

According to Kumb police, a family was travelling to their village Roojhan Jamali (Jhat Pat) Balochistan from Nawab Shah on a car, when they reached near village Jado Juno at Kumb-Nawab Shah road Mehran national highway, it collided with a trailer which was coming from opposite side.

Gul Muhammad Jamali, Dur Muhammad Jamali, Muhammad Yakoob Jamali, Abdul Latif Jamali and Razul Jamali died on the spot while two children were injured.

According to rescue officials, the injured were shifted to Gambat hospital and the bodies were shifted to Roojhan Jamali Balochistan after legal formalities.

The driver of a trailer escaped from the scene.
