Karachi: The personnel of paramilitary force rounded up at least five suspected people in two separate raids in different areas of Karachi in Saturday’s wee hours.
The paratroopers nailed at least four people during an overnight raid near Jinnah Square area of Malir.
Moving on a tip-off regarding the presence of miscreants in the area, the rangers personnel launched an operation near Peela School in Malir and arrested four suspected people during the raid.
All the arrested people have been shifted to an undisclosed location for interrogations.
According to the sources, all arrested people belong to a political party and they were captured on the basis on information given by miscreants already in custody of the security force.
Meantime, rangers launched another raid near Shoe Market area on identification of an arrested miscreant and nabbed a criminal. The sources said huge cache of firearms was recovered during the raid.
The paratroopers shifted the arrested man to an unknown location for questioning.
