Bollywood’s beloved actor Akshay Kumar recently took to Instagram to release the much-anticipated first look of his character in the upcoming sequel ‘Oh My God 2’.
The character, portraying Lord Shiva, reveals an intriguing look for Kumar. The actor is seen with long hair, his forehead smeared with ash, and a vivid blue-painted neck, fully embodying the deity’s traditional representation.
Kumar further stoked the excitement by hinting at an imminent release of the film’s teaser. He stated in his caption, “Bas kuch hi dino mein (coming in few days) OMG 2 in theatres on August 11. Teaser drops soon.”
Pankaj Tripathi Joins the Cast of ‘Oh My God 2’
In another Instagram post, Kumar revealed the character poster of fellow actor Pankaj Tripathi. The acclaimed ‘Sacred Games actor features a simplistic, endearing look. Tripathi appears as an innocent man amidst a crowd, with his hands folded in humble devotion.
In the caption accompanying Tripathi’s poster, Kumar wrote: “Milte hain sachchai ki raah par,” which translates to “Let’s meet on the path of truth.”
The sequel ‘Oh My God 2’ follows the original 2012 film, which initially starred Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal.
