Following court orders, a case has finally been registered against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif, three federal ministers, IG Punjab and IG Islamabad.
Islamabad District and Sessions court issued these orders on Monday while hearing a case regarding killing of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) workers in clash with Islamabad riot police during march towards the Parliament House.
The court had directed Islamabad police to book PM Nawaz Sharif, CM Punjab Shahbaz Sharif, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Railways Minister Saad Rafique, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, IG Islamabad Khalid Khattak, IG Punjab, IG Railways in the FIR.
The FIR, registered in Secretariat Police Station, includes sections of murder and terrorism.
