Shoaib Malik and Umar Akmal half-centuries lead Pakistan to have a seven-wicket win against UAE in a match of the Asia Cup in Dhaka earlier today.

Chasing 130 to win, Pakistan lost three early wickets of Muhammad Hafeez, Sharjeel Khan and Khurram Manzoor before the experienced duo Malik and Akmal produced a 114-run partnership to steer their team to victory in 18.4 overs and seven wickets in hand.

Malik struck three 6s and seven 4s in his 63 from 49 balls while Akmal smashed three 6s and two 4s to make 50 from 46 balls.
