In a recent operation, the Crime Circle of Mirpur Khas, under the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), arrested five Pakistani nationals found to be working illegally in Israel.
The arrestees, identified as Noman Siddiqui, Kamil Anwar, Kamran Siddiqui, Mohammad Zeeshan, and Mohammad Anwar, were found working in Tel Aviv in roles such as helpers and car washers.
According to the FIA spokesperson, “Three agents are currently at large, with five cases registered against eight accused.” It was revealed that these individuals gained entry into Israel through the aid of an Israeli agent, for which they paid a sum of three to four Lac rupees each.
A Sophisticated Illegal Employment Scheme
The arrested individuals followed a strategic pathway to Israel, reminiscent of a Schengen Visa arrangement. The spokesperson explained, “They went to Israel from an airport in Jordan.” Money transfers from these individuals were traced back to Pakistan through the Western Union, hinting at their illicit earnings from their employment in Israel.
Interestingly, these individuals managed to maintain a discreet international journey, returning home via an airport in Jordan, from where they travelled via Dubai to Karachi.
The accused now face charges under the Passport Act and the Immigration Ordinance. The FIA is making significant efforts to apprehend the remaining accused individuals.
The spokesperson stated, “The investigation agency is conducting raids to arrest the other accused,” signifying the agency’s commitment to bringing the entire operation to justice.
