According to a recent notification, the federal government has reduced sugar prices at utility stores to Rs.140 per kilogram.
This adjustment represents a decrease of Rs.13 per kg, offering some relief to consumers against escalating inflation. Previously, sugar was priced at Rs.153 per kg.
Initially, the price had been lowered from Rs.152 to Rs.149 before this latest reduction.
These price adjustments are part of broader efforts to make essential commodities more affordable for the public.
