At least 40 suspects were arrested during search operations in Balochistan’s capital Quetta.

Frontier Constabulary (FC) spokesman while talking to media said that FC and Police carried out raids at Saryab and Kalli Ismail areas of Quetta in which 40 suspected persons were taken into custody.

Home Minister of Balochistan Sarfraz Bugti has said that terrorists want to sabotage the importance of August.

“Baloch people celebrate Independence Day with national spirit and zeal. Intelligence agencies and security forces carry out operations against terrorists when anti-state elements wish to sabotage the celebrations,” Bugti said.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister of Balochistan Sanaullah Zehri congratulated the security forces over carrying out successful operations in the provincial capital.

It should be noted that Zehri had lauded the efforts of security agencies in making Balochistan a peaceful province.

“The security forces are carrying out operations against terrorists and anti-state elements without caring for their lives,” he added.
