Fazl-ur-Rehman demands treason case against MQM

Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam – Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman has demanded a treason case againt Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief and the party’s Karachi leadership.

Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman while talking to media persons on Friday said that MQM was created by General Zia-ul-Haq and it was raised by General Pervez Musharraf.

“Anti-Pakistan slogans have also been chanted in the past. What action was taken against those people,” he asked.

Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman said that Farooq Sattar has created MQM-Parliamentarians like Makhdoom Ameen Faheem had made Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) – Parliamentarians.

“All powers of the party belong to MQM chief until the party amends its constitution. It will be a challenge for Sattar to get the party’s constitution amended,” he added.
