Farah Gogi has announced filing an Rs. 5 billion defamation action against Umer Farooq Zahoor and Geo News anchor Shahzaib Khanzada.
According to ARY News, A close friend of Farhat Shehzadi, aka Farah Gogi, has reportedly announced the filing of a defamation case against Umer Farooq Zahoor and Shahzaib Khanzad for initiating a disparaging campaign against her.
Farah Gogi’s legal advisor, Azhar Siddiq Advocate, has confirmed that an Rs5 billion defamation notice would be issued to the two individuals above. He stated that criminal charges would also be brought against the two for defaming Farah Gogi.
Azhar Siddiq, the Advocate, said Farah Gogi also wants to initiate a lawsuit against Geo News for beginning a malicious campaign against Farhat Shehzadi. Azhar has also confirmed that the lawsuit’s draft has been finalized and will be filed soon.
Referring to the claims of Umer at Khanzada’s show, Azhar Siddiq stated that Farah Gog did not visit Dubai in 2019; therefore, how can she sell the watch to Umer Farooq?
Umer Farooq Zahoor revealed and claimed on a Geo News show that Farah Gogi sold him the timepiece in April 2019 for Rs330 million.
In the show, Umer confirmed that he directly purchased a watch from Farah Gogi and paid 2 million USD in cash after withdrawing it from the bank.
