The Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) was promptly notified and conducted a detailed search of the vicinity.

The district police spokesperson confirmed that the explosion resulted from a domestically manufactured explosive device.

Law enforcement is continuing their investigation to ascertain the amount of explosives used. They have also collected fragments of the device from the site of the explosion.
