Two suspected robbers were killed in firing by citizens when they were caught red-handed during a mugging near Malir area.
According to police, two robbers were busy looting a citizen near Malir, Jinnah Square, when an armed citizen who was passing nearby opened fire on robbers, killing one of them on the spot. While the other one died on the way to hospital.
Citizens subjected both the robbers to severe torture when they were caught red-handed.
Police said they were investigating the incident, adding no final word could be said at the moment.
