TikToker mashups two Swift videos. Both are from interviews with Zane Lowe and Ellen DeGeneres. Swift doesn’t name names, but the user suggests she was criticizing her DeGeneres appearance.
Swift mentions a 23-year-old interview that left her feeling uneasy, saying that back then, people were reducing her to the men she dated and “making slideshows of my dating life.”
She told Lowe on Beats 1 that they were “deciding that my songwriting was a trick.”
Swift: “It’s a way to take a woman doing her job and succeeding and minimize that skill.”
