Tech billionaire Elon Musk, an adviser to US President Donald Trump, and Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis recently celebrated the birth of their son, Seldon Lycurgus, on February 28, marks the latest addition to Musk’s large family, believed to now total 14 children.
The couple took to social media to share the joyous news. Zilis posted on X, expressing her affection for their new son: “Discussed with Elon and, in light of beautiful Arcadia’s birthday, we felt it was better to share directly about our incredible son, Seldon Lycurgus. Built like a juggernaut, with a solid heart of gold. Love him so much.” Musk acknowledged the post with a heart emoji and shared it during the celebration.
Musk and Zilis welcomed twins Strider and Azure in 2021 and their daughter Arcadia last year. The birth of Seldon Lycurgus comes after reports that conservative influencer and author Ashley St. Clair, who is allegedly Musk’s other partner, gave birth to his 13th child five months earlier and filed a paternity suit against him.
Elon Musk has publicly expressed his concerns over declining birth rates, asserting that it poses a significant threat to civilization. He emphasizes the importance of population growth for sustaining societal and economic stability.

In response to inquiries about his growing family, Musk emphasized to Page Six in 2024 that while he prefers not to formalize family announcements through press releases, it does not imply secrecy. “All our friends and family know. Failure to issue a press release, which would be bizarre, does not mean ‘secret,’” Musk stated.
