The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has issued a final notification confirming Rana Faraz Noon’s electoral victory in NA-154 Lodhran as a representative of Tehreek-e-Insaf.
In compliance with a directive from the Lahore High Court, it overturned a prior ECP’s notification that had declared Abdul Rehman Kanju of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) the contest winner.
The Election Commission’s revised notification reinstates Rana Faraz Noon’s status as the elected member from the constituency following the Lahore High Court’s judicial review.
