At least eight including two children were injured in Quetta blast at Sariab Road today (Friday).
According to initial report, a roadside bomb went off near a mill at Sariab Road leaving eight injured.
The rescue workers transferred the injured to Civil Hospital Quetta for medical attendance. One of the injured said to be in a critical condition.
The law enforcement personnel have cordoned off the area after the incident and gathering evidence from the scene of the blast. A suspect has been detained from the crime scene, police sources said.
According to the bomb disposal squad two-and-half kilogrammes of explosives were used in the bomb device which was detonated with remote control.
