Eidul Adha is celebrated on Sundays in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and several other Middle Eastern countries.

Large congregations were held in various locations worldwide to offer Eid prayers.

In Saudi Arabia, two significant congregations are held at Masjid al-Haram and Masjid an-Nabawi in the holy cities of Makkah and Madina. Reports indicate that more than a million people attended the Eid prayers at these two holiest sites of Islam.

Large congregations for Eid prayers were also held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) today.

Muslims in the United States, Japan, Indonesia, and Turkey will celebrate Eidul Adha on Tuesday.

In Pakistan, Eidul Adha will be celebrated on Monday (tomorrow).

Eidul Adha, also known as the Feast of Sacrifice, falls in the lunar Islamic calendar on the 10th day of Zil-Hajj. Muslims worldwide celebrate it 70 days after Eid al-Fitr, which marks the end of Ramadan.
