Dua Lipa has denied a recent Daily Mail story, calling it “completely false” and “clickbait.” The article claimed she had fired her manager, David Levy, due to his pro-Israel activism. Lipa responded on Instagram Stories, saying none of it was true.
The Daily Mail article was published on September 20, 2025. It is alleged that Lipa dismissed Levy, who is Jewish, after he signed a petition about an Irish rap group, Kneecap, which faced controversy over a band member’s alleged support for Hezbollah. The article quoted an unnamed source and claimed Lipa had also changed agents within the William Morris Endeavour (WME) agency.

WME quickly set the record straight to the BBC. The agency stated, “Reports suggesting Dua Lipa dismissed an agent for political views are categorically false.” WME added that Levy moved to other work earlier in 2025, before the controversy began, and was not managing Lipa at the time.
Lipa, posting on Tuesday, criticised the Daily Mail’s language as “deliberately inflammatory” and designed “for clickbait to fuel division.” She also reaffirmed her support for Palestine, stating, “It is always Free Palestine,” and spoke out against using world events for media gain.
