Donald Trump has launched “Official Trump Coins,” his latest venture into collectable silver medallions.
Trump, the 2024 U.S. presidential candidate, announced this on his social media platform, Truth Social, expressing his excitement about the launch. He stated, “I have something incredible to share today as we are introducing the launch of our Official Trump Coins! The ONLY OFFICIAL coin I designed and proudly minted here in the U.S.A.”
The coins, available for purchase at $100 each, are composed of 99.9% fine silver, weigh 1 troy ounce, and have a diameter of 1.598 inches. The design features Trump’s profile on the front and the White House on the back. Minted in Indiana, each coin comes in a custom felt bag and a certificate of authenticity, targeting collectors.
Marketed as the sole officially licensed silver medallion designed by Trump, these coins are finished with a proof quality, offering sharp details and a mirror-like appearance, intended for collectors rather than for circulation.
Trump also introduced a cryptocurrency venture, World Liberty Financial, which is connected to his family. In a livestream event, he discussed the potential of cryptocurrency, emphasized the importance of U.S. leadership in the sector, and critiqued the Biden-Harris administration.
