The Polish woman who gained attention by claiming to be the missing girl, Madeleine McCann, has now received her DNA test results.
Her parents refuted Julia Wendell‘s assertions, and the recent findings reveal that she has no British ancestry. Instead, Radar Online reports that the results confirm Wendell’s Polish origins.
Dr. Johansson told RadarOnline.com, “She is definitely 100 percent Polish, with a small percentage of Lithuanian and Russian heritage.”
Madeleine disappeared in 2007 while on vacation with her family in Praia da Luz, Portugal. She was three years old at the time.
On the other hand, Wendell stated that she could not recall significant portions of her childhood and had never seen her birth certificate. She has also described memories of a beach vacation with white or light-colored buildings but no recollection of her family.
Despite her parents dismissing her claims, Wendell has continued investigating the connection between her life and Madeleine McCann’s disappearance. But, she said, “It has been so stressful trying to get people to listen to me.”
