However, his optimism suffered a setback last week when prosecutors opposed his release, alleging that Sean Combs had breached jail regulations by making unauthorized calls and other infractions, jeopardizing his chances for bail.

This situation shifted on Tuesday when a federal judge dismissed evidence obtained during a cell sweep at Diddy’s jail.
Diddy’s lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, criticized the evidence collection as “outrageous government conduct,” the judge concurred, ruling the evidence inadmissible for the upcoming bail hearing.

Agnifilo described the cell raid as violating due process rights, rendering the evidence unusable in court.
Diddy is scheduled for his third bail hearing this Friday. While it’s uncertain if this legal victory will translate into his release, it undoubtedly strengthens his case.
