Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Haider Abbas Rizvi said his party supported the stance of Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri, the patron-in-chief of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT), adding that protest demonstrations would definitely be organized, but, not at the cost of the political system.
Earlier, a six-member delegation of the Muttahida led by Rizvi, called upon Dr.Qadri at his residence. Later, talking to media, the MQM leader said reservations were being voiced over the potential clash on August 14—the day when Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will take out “Azadi March” amidst the imposition of Arrticle-245 in the federal capital’s D-Chowk.
The Muttahida leader Rizvi remarked his party was in the process of consultations in connection with the participation in Inqilab (Revolution) March or Azadi (Freedom) March.
