Deadly Bus Crash in Yazd, Iran: 35 Pakistani Pilgrims Killed

A devastating bus accident in Yazd, Iran, has resulted in the deaths of 35 Pakistani pilgrims and left 15 others injured.

According to the Iran Red Crescent Society, a tragic accident near the Iranian city of Yazd involving a bus carrying Pakistani Shia pilgrims resulted in 35 fatalities and 20 injuries.

The incident comes as over 25,000 Pakistanis have travelled through Iran to Iraq’s Karbala to partake in the Arbaeen rituals.

Emergency response teams are actively engaged in extracting both injured and deceased individuals from the wreckage, and local hospitals have initiated emergency protocols to manage the influx of casualties.

Maulana Qamar Abbas Naqvi confirmed that all injured parties have been transported to medical facilities. He detailed the bus en route from Larkana with 50 passengers, including 14 women. The victims who lost their lives in this tragic event are reported to be from Larkana.
