An explosion in Turbat’s Dhang area, Balochistan, resulted in four deaths and 32 injuries.
Following the incident, a substantial police and security presence secured the area while rescue teams transported the casualties to local hospitals.
Hospital authorities reported that five of the injured remain in critical condition.

The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), via its Majeed Brigade, assumed responsibility for the convoy attack in Turbat.
The group announced their involvement and indicated that a comprehensive statement would follow shortly.
Balochistan government spokesperson Shahid Rand noted that SSP Zohair Mohsin received minor injuries from the blast, with investigations continuing to pinpoint the attack’s nature.
Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti expressed deep sorrow for the loss of life, condemning the attack.
In his statement, Bugti highlighted the inhumanity of targeting innocents and conveyed his deepest sympathies to the families affected, assuring them of the provincial government’s support during this difficult period.
