Very Severe Tropical Cyclone (Nilofar) in Arabian Sea is now about 920 km in southwest of Karachi.

According to Pakistan Meteorological Department, the cyclone is likely to move northward today (Wednesday) with a speed of 05 Km per hour. The tropical cyclone would re-curve northeastwards (towards adjoining coastal areas of Lower Sindh and Indian Gujrat) today.

Under the influence of this Cyclone, widespread rain/thundershowers with isolated heavy/very heavy falls accompanied by strong gusty winds are expected in Lower Sindh including Karachi and Coastal Areas of Balochistan during Wednesday (night) to Friday.

The sea conditions along Pakistan coast have become rough and likely to become very rough from today. The fishermen of Sindh and Balochistan are advised not to venture in open sea from Wednesday to Friday.
