CTD killed five TTP operatives’ in Rajanpur

Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) gunned down five terrorists affiliated with Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in Rajanpur.

According to CTD, on a tip off CTD personnel conducted an operation at Gaddanar Chowk, Rajanpur. In an exchange firing between the law enforcement agencies and the militant after which five terrorists were killed whereas three of them managed to escape.

The slain terrorists were identified as Naimat Rehman, Zia-ur-Rehman, Shahdab and Irshad Khan. They were affiliated with Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan Punjab group.

Police recovered three hand grenades, two pistols and a rifle from the terrorists. The bodies of the slain terrorists were shifted to a medical facility for post mortem

The terrorists were wanted to the authorities for their involvement in several terrorism cases.
