Cristiano Ronaldo, currently dazzling fans at Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr, has been tipped for a remarkable return to Manchester United by former teammate Louis Saha.
Despite scoring prolifically, a recent loss in the Saudi Super Cup final to Al-Hilal left Ronaldo and his team as runners-up, fueling speculation about his future moves.
Saha has suggested that Ronaldo’s immense passion and dedication could see him back at Old Trafford, potentially in a managerial or coaching role. “Cristiano has the passion and dedication to one day return to Manchester United, possibly as a coach or even a manager,” Saha remarked in an interview with TVSporten. He noted Ronaldo’s frustration with his last tenure at United, citing a lack of passion among younger players compared to his earlier experiences.
Ronaldo’s illustrious career began at Manchester United in 2003. He moved to Real Madrid in 2009 and then returned to United in 2021. His second spell at the club ended in 2022, leading him to join Al-Nassr.
Saha also commented on Ronaldo’s potential as a manager, suggesting he adjust his communication style. “As he transitions into coaching, he’ll need to adapt his communication approach, perhaps softening it. His experience and insights will undoubtedly make him a successful manager,” Saha added.
Ronaldo will play next Thursday when Al-Nassr faces Al-Raed in the Saudi Pro League’s opening match.
