COAS vows to fight till a “terror free” Pakistan

Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif  today (Friday) visitedNorth and South Waziristan Agencies..

According to DG Inter Services Relationship (ISPR), Maj-Gen Asim Bajwa, said that COAS visited front-lines along with Pakistan-Afghan border in North and South Waziristan Agencies. During the visit COAS was briefed on the progress of operations.

The COAS was also briefed about the future operation plans including to clear Shawal town from terrorists.

Address Jawans at front-lines COAS said “We will not stop till we achieve our end objective of a terror free Pakistan,”

“Operations will continue to apprehend all terrorists, facilitators, abettors and financiers from across country without any discrimination and irrespective of cost,” he said.

COAS also appreciated special integrated teams for intelligence-based operations (IBOs) across country.
