The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif earlier on Tuesday visited North and South Waziristan and spent day with jawans and tribesmen of the area.
According to ISPR, the COAS reviewed progress on the on-going operation Zarb e Azb and repatriation of Temporarily Displaced People (TDP), during his visits to the areas.
Meanwhile, the army chief attended in Peshawar the funeral prayers of Major Ali Jawad, who got injured in cross border firing from Afghanistan and later died in hospital. (APP)
