Chief of Army Staff Gen Qamar Bajwa visited home of Muhammad Ali Khan at Gharh Khel, Karak, whose three sons martyred in various operations.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations  (ISPR) statement, Ali Khan’s three sons  included Lance Naik Khurshid, Naib Subedar Umer Daraz from FC Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Haveldar Sher Daraz martyred in different operations.

Ali’s nephews Sepoy Hazrat Ali and Sepoy Lal Marjan also sacrificed their lives for the country.

The ISPR statement mentioned that four of Ali’s nephews are serving currently in army.

The army chief paid tribute to the family for its services and great sacrifices. “Till the time we have great parents and such brave sons no threat can deter Pakistan,” said the ISPR.

“No amount of care can return the value of their patriotism and sacrifices which is leading us to a peaceful and stable Pakistan,” said the COAS.

The army chief was accompanied by Commander Peshawar Corps Lieutenant General Nazir Ahmed Butt during the visit.

Ali Khan and his family thanked the army chief and announcing a special welfare package (in addition to the martyrdom entitlement) for the family and the village, said the army’s media cell. (PhotoNews / Geo News)
