Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif Saturday offered Eid-ul-Fitr prayer at Wana, South Waziristan Agency.
“Pakistan is destined to rise now that terrorism has been defeated and there are visible signs of security improvement,” the statement stated, adding that operations against terrorists will continue until their total eradication.
The COAS also visited Eidak in North Waziristan, where he interacted with troops and TDPs who have returned home safely.
According to an ISPR press release, the COAS met Eid with the troops. (APP)
